Introduction to Microsoft Projects

Develop an Integrated Project Management Plan how difficulty without a software? 
According to PMI’s developing an integrated Project Management plan involves 24 processes, 12 auxiliary plans, 3 baselines and set of supporting documents.
Microsoft Project seamlessly integrates the above process steps and facilitates the Project Managers in creating a model plan, perform what-if scenario analysis, choose the best alternative, set and maintain baselines. This plan will be used for tracking, reporting, and integrated change control. By automating the planning processes significant paper-based documentation can be avoided while maintaining the integrity of the plan across the life cycle of the project.

Every student will be given access to Proventures E Learning portal. We include this cost in our course fee and distribute the log-in credential once you register for our programs. The student can use the portal for one year to learn. The portal contains online reader / downloadable pdf version of the MS Project learning document, Pre and Post assessments, templates, and short videos.

The workshop will follow a unique case project and the participants will learn the planning and tracking in a real-time environment. In addition to the main case project, features specific case lets will be used for in-depth understanding of the complex features.

Windows 10 or later is required to install Project Professional 2019 and Project Standard 2019. These versions have the same Office system requirements.
Project for the web and Project Online follows the same browser support as Microsoft 365. Learn more about the Microsoft 365 browser requirements.
You can install Project Online desktop client on up to 5 PCs.
Project plans from earlier versions of Project can be used in Project 2019 by providing users all the benefits of the current product. To avoid compatibility issues when sharing your new Project files with Project 2007 users, save your project as a Project 2007 file format. (Note: Project 2019, 2016, 2013, and 2010 share the same file format.)

The core features of the two products are identical with one exception. Project Online desktop client includes Kanban boards. Project Professional has a perpetual license. Once activated, the software will not expire. Use of the Project Online desktop client requires an active Project Plan 3 or Project Plan 5 subscription.
