Vijay Prashanth M is a Director (Operations) in M/S Proventures working for the last 11+ years. He holds his B. Tech degree in Computer Science engineering from University of Pondicherry with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is a Certified Professional in Project Management (PMP) and Certified Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) from PMI, USA. He is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance. He is also a Certified Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) on Microsoft Project. He is authorized trainer for delivering Project Management Professional Workshops and is certified by Project Management Institute, USA. As a Project Management Consultant, he works with various organizations to understand their business processes, design customizations, and configure the Microsoft Project Server/Online and Primavera P6 / EPPM along with the team.

He worked for Saudi Telecom Company in Saudi Arabia, where his responsibilities included engaging the stakeholders from multiple Business Units, customize and develop new modules in the system, train the managers on using the system functionally and support IT in administering the solution. He also provided support in the implementation of change management across all the Business Units and in adapting the solution. He provided support in streamlining the operations of PMO by developing reporting templates and automation. He also performed process gap analysis and established PM processes along with the definition of roles and responsibilities of the Project Management Office.

He supports the development of the new training programs for Proventures on Project, Program and Portfolio Management. He worked on all modules of Microsoft Project including advanced features like Earned Value Management, advanced tracking and monitoring, and reporting. He has delivered more than 50 workshops on various modules of Microsoft Project since 2008. Few of the corporates to which Vijay has delivered trainings are Microsoft India, Pfizer Inc, Sanofi Limited, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Tata Advanced Systems etc. His consulting experience will provide the students with real time implementation approach, issues, configuration, and customization.

Prashanth supports major Project Management trainings and consulting assignments for Proventures for various Multinational clients in the domains of Pharmaceuticals, Manufacturing / Engineering, Oil and Gas, Airports and Utilities, Aerospace, Telecom, Consulting and IT, and Government.
