PMI has released the sixth edition of “ A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” on 6th September 2017. The PMP examination will take this edition with effect from 26th March 2018. Hence all professionals who have taken their 35 Hours mandatory training should complete their examinations well before this date. We can expect a rush in Prometric test centers toward this date. Hence complete your preparations and enroll for the exam As Early as Possible.
Proventures team is actively working the following sub projects to manage this transition and facilitate the professionals to adopt the same.
- We have planned to launch a series of seminars to give an overview of the new edition of PMBOK highlighting the difference and a bird’s eye view of the new edition.
- This first seminar is being launched in Pune with support from PMI Pune chapter. This is scheduled for 11th November. This will be a 8 PDU seminar and you may recommend your friend to get the first glimpse of the new edition.
- The 5th edition format will continue in November and December. With effect from Jan 2018, we will conduct programs based on 6th edition
- An elegantly designed pocket book is being prepared by our team on the new PMBOK. This will help the certified professionals to upgrade easily.
