M/S Progressive Ventures is pleased to announce a one day public workshop on the “PMI - Practice Standard for Scheduling”. Effective Project Scheduling which includes development and maintanence of schedule model is an art and science, and is one of the critical success factors for a project. PMI published this scheduling standard in the year 2007 after four years of development efforts. Most of the market tools like Primavera, MS Projects support the features of this standard. This one day workshop will be followed with a two day hands- on workshop on Microsoft Projects 2007 (Registrations are separate) with an application focus towards preparation for MCTS examination (70-632). On completion of these two workshops one can receive the 30 mandatory educational credits required for appearing for the PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) credential.

Faculty Details: About the Faculty 1: P Seenivasan PMP, Director, Progressive Ventures, Hyderabad, India, has 30 years of experience in the domains of Project Management, Process Quality and Software development. He has a B.Tech degree in chemical engineering from University of Madras with a Master degree in Business Administration. He is a Certified Quality Analyst (CSQA) from QAI, USA and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through PMI, USA. PS was one of the founder directors of PMI Pearl City Chapter, Hyderabad and served the chapter during 2001 – 2006. As part of this chapter he handled extensive development activities within the Project Management community. Currently as part of Progressive Ventures he handles a number of workshops focused on Project Management concepts, application and tools. As a consultant he supports gap analysis, establishing PM processes, adapt PM tools and implement companies in aligning to PM culture. He is a Microsoft certified Technology Specialist on Microsoft Projects 2007.
