Mr. P. Seenivasan

P Seenivasan PMP,PgMP, Director, Progressive Ventures, Hyderabad, has nearly 30 years of experience in the domains of Project Management, Process Quality and Software development. He has a B.Tech degree in chemical engineering from University of Madras with a Master degree in Business Administration. He is a Certified Quality Analyst (CSQA) from QAI, USA and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through PMI, USA. He is a certified lead assessor in ISO 9000 Quality Management System through BSI, London. He is a trained appraisal team member (ATM) in SCAMPI –CMMI Appraisal. He steered one ISO 9001 implementation project and one CMMI level-5 implementation project from the grass root till completion.

PS was one of the founder directors of PMI Pearl City Chapter, Hyderabad and served the chapter during 2001 – 2006. As part of this chapter he handled extensive development activities within the Project Management community. This includes two national/International conferences, a student competency development program, a number of PMBOK workshops and Professional development seminars. He worked as a PMI volunteer for the OPM3 project. He has been involved in New Product Development in ERP and web applications.

Currently as part of Progressive Ventures he handles a number of workshops focused on Project Management concepts, applications and tools. As a consultant he conducts gap analysis, establishes PM processes and helps companies adapt PM Tools and Methodologies aligning to PM culture.




Mr. K.S.R. Gopal

K.S.R.Gopal, PMP is a Management Consultant having more than 31 years of Experience in the Fields of Project Management and General Management in the Fertilizer, Fine Chemicals, Heavy Chemicals, Bulk Drugs, Agro Products, Food Processing and IT related Industries. The project Management experience has been in all the areas from Conceptualization of a Project till Commissioning.

K.S.R.Gopal has Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through PMI, USA. He teaches Project Management courses regularly for the PMI Chapter workshops and for other Organizations. He also takes up Management Consulting assignments and troubleshooting Projects for the Process Industry. 

 


Mr. John Wesley

John Wesley, MCT, MCTS is a consultant with Progressive Ventures since Jan 2006. He is a graduate in Computers Science and started his career as a technical support analyst and later as a Technical Writer for Hewlett Packard through a partner. He currently specializes in Microsoft Project in both the Professional and Enterprise versions.  

He teaches in Microsoft Project workshops conducted by Progressive Ventures. He has also designed and delivered a course for Microsoft Project MCTS Certification Preparation (70-632).  He specializes in Enterprise Project Management suite that provides Portfolio, Program and Project Planning, monitoring, controlling and reporting capabilities along with advanced Project Collaboration features using Project Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server, SharePoint and Windows 2003 Server technologies. He is a certified Technology Specialist in Managing Projects using Microsoft Project 2007 and is a certified professional in Designing, Deploying, and Managing a Network Solution for a Small- and Medium-Sized Business.

At Progressive Ventures, he has worked closely with the development team of  Ms.Projity providing testing and documentation services for a project management tool called “Project-On-Demand”. He also worked as an Implementation Consultant on Critical Chain Project Management in Hindustan Shipyard, Vizag, in the Ship Building and Ship Repair Business units. John is a Microsoft Certified trainer.

  


Mr. Joseph W Daniel

Joseph W Daniel, PMP began his career as a faculty in Physics and Electronics at Loyola College, Chennai. Following which he worked as a Research Fellow on Government of India sponsored scientific research projects. Subsequently, he moved on to Intersoft as Quality Analyst and then to Ektha, a software development and BPO solutions company, leading a team that coordinated travel logistics of private jet fliers in the USA and elsewhere via an integrated portal.

He is currently working here at Progressive Ventures as a Project Management Consultant in developing and delivering Project Management training. He has also been involved in handholding and consulting assignments for various reputed clients of Progressive Ventures over the last two years that has included process mapping and gap analysis, creation of project templates, reporting dashboards and metrics for customers from the manufacturing, engineering and pharmaceutical sectors etc. He has worked extensively on Microsoft Project 2007 and SAP Project Systems for Business Process mapping.

He is a post-graduate in Physics from Loyola College, University of Madras and also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute, USA. 

 

Guest Faculty: Mr. A V Ramam

Mr. A V Ramam is currently a Vice President of Invensys Development Centre India Pvt. Ltd. Ramam started his career as Computer Programmer in Osmania University, Hyderabad in 1982 during the punch card and mainframe days. He joined Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) in 1984 as Management Trainee. After undergoing plant training in Durgapur Steel Plant, he worked in the EDP Division of SAIL Central Marketing Organization (CMO) for 12 years. During his tenure with SAIL CMO, he designed and developed several systems in the areas of Production planning, Sales and Distribution, Exports and Imports, HR and Accounts, Central and Regional MIS. He was EDP Manager when he left SAIL in 1996 to join Baan. He joined Baan as Senior Software Engineer in1996 and became the Head of Baan India Development Center after 2 years. During the ten years at Baan, he turned the India operations into a strategic Global development center. He has been through three acquisitions and integrations, including that of Invensys. Ramam is a Post Graduate in Applied Statistics from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He is a Certified Quality Analyst from Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), USA, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI, USA, and Post Graduate Diploma holder in Operational Research from OR Society of India. He is a founder member and President of Hyderabad Pearl City chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI), USA and Vice President of Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA). He is on the Advisory Board of ICFAI School of IT.He was a recipient of “Info-Technologist of the Year - 2002” award given by the media for his contributions to the growth of the IT industry in the State.  

 


Guest  Faculty: Mr. Puthucode Ganesh

Puthucode Ganesh, PMP  is a senior manager with Virtusa India Priavte Limited, Hyderabad. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI, USA and Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) from QAI, USA. He has more than 18 years of experience in Project Management, Software Development & Consulting. His experience is in the areas of Manufacturing automation, Financial Accounting,  ERP and Process consulting . He lead the CMMI Level 5 initiative within SSA Global, India which is probably first of its kind in the extended enterprise product development & solution provider space. He is a visiting faculty for PMI, Hyderabad chapter and an active member of SPIN, Hyderabad. He is an Executive Committee Member of PMI, Pearl City Chapter, Hyderabad. He has delivered several sessions on PMBOK, CMMI, EVM and  Quality Management in various forums across various locations in India and US.

 


Guest Faculty: Mr. Joseph D'Souza

Joseph D'Souza, PMP is a Development manager working with Invensy Development Centre India Pvt Ltd. Has about 10 years of experience in the Chemical industry and software development. Joseph has a B.E Degree in Chemical engineering from the university of Bombay and a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi. Joseph's Experience in the industry covers five years as a Chemical engineer designing and commissioning Chemical plants while working with UHDE India Ltd Bombay. Subsequently he worked as a software developer in Hyderabad with Ms Frontier Information Technologies Lts and has been with Invensys since then. He teaches Project Management courses regularly for the PMI Chapter workshops and symposiums.  He has participated in many volunteer projects with PMI and PMI Hyderabad chapter.
